The Cost of Veterinary School and
how you can help [aka - adopt a
    vegan vet student]
Briana & I are both extremely grateful to be
pursuing our dream job! As future veterinarians
& animal advocates we know we can make a
huge positive impact on the lives of animals
everywhere.

However, the cost of veterinary education can
be overwhelming at times. Our annual tuition is
roughly $36,000 and it continues to rise each
year. That plus cost of living means we need
roughly $50,000 per year each to attend vet
school in California.

All in all, at the end of 4 years of veterinary
school adding up the cost of tuition & cost of
living, we will have taken out about $200,000 in
loans each [which means we will have to pay
back almost twice that amount].

Sounds like a lot of money, right? It is. But we
are willing to make a few sacrifices to make our
dreams a reality. And to be able to do
something that you truly love & are passionate
about makes it all worthwhile :)

If you want to help us make it through veterinary
school & pay off our outrageously large loans
please donate today! Briana & I also tend to
rescue ever animal that comes along, which
usually ends up coming with a huge vet bill (I
know, even us vet students have to pay a lot for
veterinary care). Your donations would also go
towards helping us take care of our foster
animals.

You can adopt-a-vet student! It's quick & easy :)

Help Briana & I in our quest to become
compassionate, ethical & knowledgeable
veterinarians.

And a HUGE thank you from Zarah, Briana &
the animals!

The College of Veterinary
Medicine at Western
University is the
first
veterinary school in the US
to have a "Reverence for
Life" Philosophy! What
does this mean? It means
we do not harm or kill any
animal for our education.
